The National Manager Facilities Delivery is a critical leadership role with an increasing focus on optimising spend and utility across the network. This will be achieved through a strategic approach and working in partnership with other parts of the Asset Management team which this role is a key part of. These partnerships will jointly develop strategic asset planning and asset management plans. A key part of this roles success for the organisation will be engaging effectively with the significant AM/FM outsource service provider. This role will be responsible for developing productive senior relationships with this provider for the continued success of the contract.

Both superb commercial skills and experience, as well as effective people leadership skills are essential to be effective in this role. This role and team are highly visible and engage directly with site operations as an essential component of operational effectiveness in an environment which has critical asset availability demands.

Candidates will need to have the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience in a national facilities maintenance role for a complex asset base
  • Technical knowledge that demonstrates credibility across a broad range of maintenance services
  • An authentic leader who is supportive and has a track record of developing team capability
  • Commercial expertise including the ability to engage with external service providers and manage supplier relationships for mutual benefit
  • Well-developed communication skills with a wide-range of stakeholders
  • Demonstrated skills in linking strategic asset planning and management with tactical FM
  • An appropriate professional qualification

Candidates will need to have the following skills and attributes:
